Will it work with your windlass?

The great majority of modern windlass are supplied either with a chain count sensor already installed, or with the gypsy and base pre-drilled.

Compatible windlasses for the chain counter include:

Lewmar: all current windlasses except the Pro/Fish range

Lofrans: all vertical windlasses

Maxwell: all current windlasses except HRC-FF

Quick: all current windlasses except HR5

We commonly supply the chain sensor manufactured by Lewmar (part no. 66000615), this comprises a magnet (8mm dia + 4mm) and a reed switch (6mm dia). However if these dimensions are not compatible with your windlass we can supply alternatives – please ask.
